Music Technology & Appreciation is a general music course open to all students. It is a relatively new course that was first introduced during the fall of 2004. This course will take in depth look at a select few of the many factors influencing music in today’s world through the use of the computer and other available resources. Students will become acquainted with musical notation software, MIDI, music business concepts, music theory concepts, and the workings of different instruments to enhance their understanding and appreciation of music and its history.
